Beavertail

The Beavertail is an extension of the upper rear portion of the pistol grip. This extension assists the operator by preventing what is commonly known as "slide bite". When the operator takes grasp of the pistol grip, the web of the hand is prevented from overlapping into the slides path.

We include Grip Texture and Refinishing as a part of this process.

Here, and above, you can see the extent of the Beavertail. The contour of the pistol grip is maintained for a uniform appearance.
